HitFilm 2 Express is no longer for sale, so unless you have already purchased a license then you will not be able to activate this software.

Step 1: Uninstall any existing copies

Firstly, uninstall any existing copies of HitFilm 2 Express that you might already have on your computer.

Step 2: Download the installer

Click the download link below to download the installer to your computer. Make sure you select the correct version for your operating system.

Step 3: Run the installer

Run the HitFilm 2 Express installer file on your computer by double clicking on its file icon (this requires administrator privileges on your computer). Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 4: Activate the software

• Launch the program
• Choose activate from the options when asked to activate, try or buy.
• If you already have a FXhome website account sign in with your details, otherwise choose to create an account.
• Follow the on screen instructions.

Step 5: Finished

HitFilm 2 Express is now ready for you to use!
