My cellphone is recording videos at 29FPS, but hitfilm doesn't have 29FPS, only 29.97, what should I do?
They are out of sync
Hello friends. Always I record a video with my celphone camera it has 29 or 30FPS.
When i put the 30FPS video into Hitfilm4 Express and select 1080P 30FPS all goes right! But all the 29FPS become out of sync, even if i change the config to 1080P 29.97 FPS. Whats the point?
Is 29FPS equal to 29.97?
@Mantovanib Your footage is likely recorded using Variable Frame Rate (sometimes called VFR). Please convert your videos to constant frame rate before importing them in HitFilm (or any other video editor for that matter).
Here are a few forum posts that can help you:

Mantovanib I use a cell phone to record all of my footage also, and I have the same problem. I made a youtube video on how to use handbrake to fix those A/V synch issues. It's only 2:44 minutes. Have a look, and if you have any questions, please feel to ask!
