Let's get started with HitFilm Pro

Step 1: Uninstall any existing copies

Firstly, uninstall any existing copies of HitFilm Pro that you might already have on your computer.

Step 2: Download the installer

Click the download button below that corresponds to the operating system you are running. This will download the installer to your computer.

A newer version of HitFilm Pro is available. Click here to download the latest version instead.

By downloading you agree to the software license agreement.

Step 3: Run the installer

Run the HitFilm Pro installer file on your computer by double clicking on its file icon (this requires administrator privileges on your computer). Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 4: Activate the software

  • Launch the program
  • Choose activate from the options when asked to activate, try or buy.
  • If you already have a FXhome website account sign in with your details, otherwise choose to create an account.
  • Follow the on screen instructions.

Step 5: Finished

HitFilm Pro is now ready for you to use!
