Hi, wanted to know how can I use colorchecker passport to adjust my colors properly
I don’t think you’ll find very many users of that (if any) on this forum. You’ll get much better help asking on a forum related to that product. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
@triforcefx I'm gonna tag you in here.
So, the colorchecker passport is basically a card with controlled color swatches.
There are advanced uses of certain swatches that should be looked up online, but where it becomes useful as a starting point in Hitfilm is White Balance a certain swatch is 70% grey, and, in Hitfilm's White Balance effect, using the eyedropper to select that swatch gives a calibrated neutral tone to correct white balance.
I have a similar question based on this how to video on color correcting with Scopes.
Is there a tutorial on how to do this in HitFilm?
