  • Please list your system specs.  You can also look up minimum requirements here at the bottom of the page: https://fxhome.com/express/specs

Also, make sure your GPU drivers are up to date.

  • Good Morning.
Hitfilm express 2017 does not work, when I try to start the program the screen turns black and then it comes out.
I have updated my gpu drivers.
The specifications of my pc are: Intel core i5 of second generation, sdd of 120gb and hdd of 500 gb, 8 gb Ram, Geforce Gt 730 of 1gb
What should I do to make this program work on my machine?

    Thanks for your attention.

  • @JorgeRodriacuteguez What version of Windows are you running? Is your machine a Dell or Alienware system?

  • Specs

Processor: AMD Athlon P340  Dual-Core Processor 2.20 GHz

    RAM: 4.00 GB

System type: 64-bit operatingsystem, 64x-based processor.

  • @FlemmingKuskLarsen ; Which 64 bit OS?  Which GPU?

@FlemmingKuskLarsen Chances are your machine is well under minimum specifications for Hitfilm. Hitfilm requires an i3 or higher Intel processor or AMD equivalent and your CPU is more on par with a Pentium (which is below spec).

If you don't have a dedicated GPU I guarantee you are under spec.

  • I have an i7 and it is doing the same thing.

  •  My machine isn`t Dell or Alienware System an I have Windows 10.

  • I fixed the problem. I went to my programs as if to uninstall the software and clicked on the repair option instead. Everything re-downloaded and now it looks like it is starting up fine.
