I can not figure out how to do some slow motion during editing, or how to speed a clip up. Can someone help me?
First off, be aware that if your footage wasn't shot at high speed, your slow-mo won't be butter-smooth.
That aside, the most basic way to change the speed of any clip in the Editor timeline is to right-click on it and choose "Speed/Duration", which brings up a dialog where you can manually enter the speed (with 100% being normal; higher values speed it up, lower values slow it down). For more direct control, you can use the Rate Stretch tool (I forget what the icon looks like; I always use the S hotkey to call it up), which lets you grab the end of an item and drag to stretch it longer or shorter.
