Exposure

Dictates the amount of light that is entering the lens. Too low an exposure and you will have dark, murky images. Too high and your images will be washed-out and over-bright. Auto-exposure can sometimes suffice, but for drama or complex lighting it is important to manually adjust the exposure for the desired effect.
