Distort the pixels in one layer using data from another layer. Useful for invisibility, heat haze and much more.

Source Layer

Defines the layer used for the displacement. If no layer is selected then the host layer displaces itself.

Horizontal/Vertical Displacement

The displacement values can be derived from multiple channels in the Source Layer.

Max Horizontal/Vertical Displacement

The maximum strength of the displacement can be adjusted. The actual amount of displacement is also affected by the channel and source values.

Wrap Pixels

Displacement can cause pixels at the edge of frame to be moved. This can result in the area beyond the frame being visible. This area can remain transparent, or be filled in with tiled or reflected versions of the layer.
