I god the idea for creating this theme and mood setting grading preset when I watched Letters from Iwo Jima the other day. The colours during certain shots of the action scenes had a brown, almost golden look to them while still managing to look gritty and dirty. I thought it was a really cool choice for colour grading, so I decided to replicate the exact grading used in the movie using high definition before and after footage. |
