This month is a particularly busy one for everybody here at FXhome. Back in the old days it used to be one thing at a time, due to there being so few of us, but now that the team has grown to 12 it gives us the flexibility to have multiple projects in development at once.
The big event this month on FXhome.com is, of course, the FXhome Awards 2010, the second year we've run such an event. The nominations phase is in full swing, so make sure you take a little time this weekend to check it all out and make your selections.
Meanwhile, over on YouTube, we're running one new video tutorial a week for the rest of the month. The next one will be up on Monday, taking a close look at VisionLab's lightning engine. Talking of YouTube, we've updated our channel so that everything is now much easier to find. If you haven't taken a look at our collection of short films, tutorials and community content before, now's a good time!
Earlier in the week we had an internal tech demonstration from the developers which provided a glimpse of the treats in store for you all. Eventually I'll get the the green light to tell you all about the things we're working on, at which point I will instruct you all to carefully hold on to your hats. It's going to be epic.
Next week we'll be attending Focus On Imaging in Birmingham, Europe's biggest photography show. We don't have an exhibition stand this year, but if you're there on the Tuesday keep an eye out for our FXhome shirts and do feel free to say hello if you spot us.
As always, if you want to know what we're up to and get all the latest developments first, make sure you follow us on Twitter or join our Facebook group.
Until next time!
