DR is a short no-profit film inspired by the universe created by George Lucas.
The movie will be split in two chapters, each of them will be about 40 mins of running time.

A few centuries after EPVI in the official Timeline, DR tells the story of a young Jedi apprentice and his mentor in a period of great changes in the balance of galaxy.

The only costs to make this movie regarded the set materials, the costumes, props and the camera and the registration of many software programs for the visual effects.

No one between actors, external co-workers or anyone in any case has been payed! Each of them worked just for the fun of it and for the passion that drives us.

There is some really nice and creative visual work in this trailer. Some shots look amazingly beautiful (When the action edit starts, it shows that the film doesn't have the same high standards everywhere unfortunately, but still, great visuals).

My compliments on your energy you spend in there. Obviously, this has cost a lot of time and sweat no doubt, and it shows.

It would be great seeing that kind of detail and creative energy in an original film. If this was an original piece of work, I'd be more then VERY interested to see it.
As it's a Star Wars Fanfilm, unfortunately I can't say the same.

Nevertheless my compliments to you and your team and good luck with the film!

Indeed, some fantastic cinematography, visual concepts and special effects in this - probably the best I've seen in no-budget fanfilms.

As Sollthar says, in some ways it's a shame that it's Star Wars, as I'd love to see all this talent put into an original movie - I reckon you guys could go far with the skills you're showing here.

The sense of scale in some of the shots is absolutely superb, with beautiful lighting and shot composition. Another thing worth mentioning is that the acting looks decent - a particularly commendable achievement. Also good to see a wide range of actors - male, female, old, young. The cast looks much more interesting than most other fanfilms.

Despite having seen a few thousand Star Wars movies in my time and being really rather tried of them in general, I am definitely very excited about seeing this particular one.

I found it very difficult to believe I was watching a low/no budget fan film as opposed to the product of a professional studio. I'm not big on fan films myself, but the overall quality of this was very impressive. A very strong 4/5.

Any fanfilm with a lifesize R2-D2 deserves a 5/5

...and also because this one just plain looks good...and because it has a hottie in it
