Authors Comments - "It's a small test; like we always do them. The move was done with morph, Photoshop, Premiere, Cinema4D and
- off course - AlamDV "

A fantastic recreation of the matrix bullet time effect. It will have your pausing and rewinding continously to try and work out how its done. And its all in super sexy cinema stylee widescreen

Hi. :)

There are many tutorials on how to do a matrix move...
For example visit my homepage and click on "effects" to see how it's done.

It was horribble. Me arse is aching after this terrifying and grotatius involving speciment. I could have done better after eating a pork with chocolate and orange juice and crapping on my grandfathers dinnerplate!
You suck!!!

A part from that, it was very good!!

Heads up....I've got a short on the way that I made with some of the Grade 4 students in my class. Highly violent and sure to get me fired!

More importantly I used the "still" frame Matirx Tutorial. It works perfectly if you are meticulous about re-shooting. Cheers to whoever originally posted it. No need to go through Elsatic Reality, Morph or Phtososhop.

It's gonna be cool..........gimme a few weeks and then I'll provide an explanation for how I did all of it......if anyone wants, I'll post the 3 second "spin" camera scene with the Bullet Time sequence that I shot on Friday when it's totally finished. I'll just check back here to see if it's worth it.

Does the movie have little kids shooting each other in it? If it does it would be funny! HA!

Yeah man...........I picked these 4 kids who worked really hard and helped do some of the Alam stuff for another project (they got totally into it).

Considering the "Matrix Kids" flick you guys did, this will be right up your alley! Totaly mayhem. Kids blasting the crap out of oneanother........blood......you name it.........just taking a long time......

I hope this doesn't start a "Neo is evil" crusade. I do have their parents permission for anyone that is worried- and they're learning a lot from this experience.......like how to cock a replica Sig-45!!!!

That is pretty good shootin Tex. Good film Sollthar, only one question, i checked out the tutorial on your web page on how you did this, but how did you get the backround to blend together so well. I assume you took stills and then put them together to fly across the backround. But how did your stills line up so well.??? :o
But thats just my opinion...

This is damned impressive considering the technique used. I'm amazed your actor managed 7 near-identical jumps. I hope his elbows and knees have recovered :)

Suggestions to improve it: lead-in and lead-out instead of whizzing the camera round at a constant speed. Soften the shadow on the floor, it looks really fake as it is. If 7 of us could get together and film the actor with 7 cameras at once, you could make an even better version :)
