Hello all...
I have a suggestion on how to improve your search engine thing. Here's what happened. I was using the search thing at the top of the page on the forum tab and I was wanting to help someone in the tutorials section. I knew that Spydurhank (I believe) made a tutorial on how to make titles in Effectslab. I went to the tutorial section and looked threw many pages without success. I knew it was there but I couldn't find it and didn't want to go threw 32 pages. I also knew that he used GIMP for the tutorial. I went to the search bar at the top of the forums tab and typed in "Title in GIMP". This brought up 190 pages of results 1/2 of which didn't even say the words "Titles" or "GIMP".

I think you should improve your search engine drastically. Such as if you are in a forum at the top of the page, when you search it should only bring up results in that forum. I also think you could include an "Advanced Options" tab such as google. Like "search for this phrase only", etc. Thanks for taking the time to read and consider this!-Storm Grenade

Confused... did you double click the search icon? It should bring up a page like this and this:

Usually that is sucesful 9/10 times for me finding something. Give it a try if you haven't yet. xD

Indeed, using the standard search box without imposing any other limits or criteria on the search is generally so broad as to be useless. But using the advanced search, as DVStudio mentioned, and limiting the search to specific forums, or to posts by a specific author, in connection with your search terms usually makes finding the results you are after much quicker. Searching for 'all' terms rather than 'any' terms also often helps.

It doesn't work? What browser are you using?

Are you sure you are double-clicking the search button while the search field is empty?
