| If you want something like that, but don't want to pay for WinXP try mythTV. http://www.mythtv.org/
This runs on linux, and maybe BSD. ( I don't know). My friend tried it and realy liked it. |

| Can you move the video over to a usb drive?
Maybe then you can save it if the computer isn't fixed in time. |

then add in in goldwave (google it if you haven't heard of it.) |
