HitFilm Pro 2017 not starting

I just upgraded to Hitfilm Pro 2017 from Hitfilm 4 Pro (which ran fine). When I try to start Hitfilm Pro 2017 the icon shows in the taskbar quickly and then disappears . I cant get any further than that and the program never starts. I turned off all virus protection and my video drivers are up to date. ANY ADVICE!!!


  • @Volmadman try restarting your machine.

    If this doesn't fix it, could you please give us more details about your system specs?

    Restarting doesn't help. It always does the same thing when I try to start it.

    I tried to reinstall Hitfilm 4 Pro and it works great
