This is now very frustrating. All I try to do is import a clip, then move it on the timeline and then the program crashes.
I find it hard to fathom wanting to buy any packages for this program since it has difficulty with simple tasks.
Since I have written this post (5 minutes ago?) the program has crashed 3 times
What are your system specs? Do they meet the minimum requirements?
Beyond that HitFilm 4 Express is an old version that's no longer supported. The current version is HitFilm Express 2017
my system meets all the minimums. its a 2015 retna macbook pro 15"
this program frustrates the hell out of me.
its crashing once a minute now and my timeline only has 2mins of content.
I fear upgrading will make it worse but I will try.
Which MacBook Pro? Unless you got the very top end version with the discrete GPU, you're basically at minimum specs for Hitfilm...
If you have a Macbook Pro mid2015 with the Intel Core i7 2.5Ghz processor, your integrated GPU has only 512MB of VRAM, so the bare minimum.
If you happend to have the 2.2Ghz version, you are under specs
@Blakech It seems that your computer should work. Could you please contact support so that we can assist you further?
