In 2001 Josh combined a love of filmmaking with his programming skills to create FXhome's first software product. Over the next 10 years he assembled a team to develop video and photo software, with HitFilm's 2011 release being the culmination of those efforts. He continues to be the driving force behind FXhome and HitFilm and there are many more ideas still to come.
FXhome was founded back in 2001 by Joshua Davies. Previous video products included EffectsLab Pro and VisionLab Studio and we are currently developing the PhotoKey and HItFilm products for photographers and filmmakers.
