snitch. is a project my group and I did for class that had to revolve around lighting. This is the first thing I have plot graphed and lit properly since I started filmmaking.
They synopsis is pretty much Erica, the model student, is trying to steal exams, but Jackie, the student teacher, is able to catch her red-handed and a cool fight breaks out.
Before anyone starts, this is NOT inspired by Kill Bill. Yes, one song is from Kill Bill, but this was storyboarded and planned before I saw the film, so anything else is coincidence. If I had to say what inspired me the most, I'd probably go with Snatch because of the titles and fight scene.
There were some problems when filming this, so we had to go back and reshoot certain shots to make the peice flow and we also had to completely rethink and reshoot the ending. Our original ending didn't work once I got down to editing, so we had about 40 minutes the next day to come up with a new one. So, as a little bonus, attached is also the alternate/original ending.
Since this is pretty easy, only 10 force points to the first person who can point out where AlamDV2 was used :D
Enjoy.

Thank-you very much
I'm glad you liked the camera work...that's what I tried for in this particular video.
Youll be seeing the star of this in a new film ive been shooting for 3 months now...Pancakes Prelude. She plays a lead.
thanks for the comments! ![]()

The dolly shots - they're amazing guys. Big props to the DP and his team. Did I see some steadycam shots maybe? And for the time you had to shoot this (which I'm sure wasn't too long, since high school teachers don't understand how long it takes to make movies) the story and pacing was just fine.
I'm sure you've found out by making movies as a group, not as an individual who goes around finding everyone for his.her own movie that filmmaking is done by collaboration, and you guys did awesome with that. Together, your creativity graced this movie well. For what it was worth, the fight scene was great - it definatly is better than most I've seen on highschool-level movies like this. I could tell what scenes you spent time on and which ones you might have rushed...the beginning wasn't too shabby, but it definatly picked up in the computer room. Your leading lady is a 10 btw. Props to the casting director
even if there wasn't one. She's a girl meant for the screen - I say that in a non-sketchy way. PEACEOUT
