This is a short I did for my final exam. Most Backgrounds are CGI and Greenscreen. I tried to do it as dark as possible to achieve that certain "oldskool-look" I had in my mind.
Again I was using Premiere, Cinema4D, SndSampler and AlamDV.
I hope you like it, I spent days in editing... :)))

Thanks a lot for the comments! It's been a while since the last post on this topic.
That pan was used with the remaining material of the image. You know, I filmed 4:3 and cut a bit of the frame off on to give it a 16:9 look. So I have quite a bit of "unused" space that has still video information. That can be used for vertical pans and a bit of zooming.

Sollthar,
Excellent work! Since I normally waffle on for 3 or 4 pages, that's all I'll say
NoClue.
PS,
Out of interest, with the invisable scenes, you said you used a blank background plate and then edited your film frame by frame. There is one point where you are walking up the stairs and the camera pans with you. How did you get the pan exactly the same for both the background shot and the shot with you in it? or am I just being thick again? ![]()
