This is the 3rd movie for the Shammy Boys. It's a film that we (the teachers) make for the school film festival. We're always trying out new things to pass along to our students. In this movie we used: Premiere (and filmed in 16:9 for the first time), AlamDV2, Commotion 4 Pro, After Effects 5.5, Poser 4, Logomotion 2.1, and even used lowly iMovie for one or two little things.
In this episode, the Shammies must figure out why the school has suddenly started to lose its colour. Can they save it in time before the students go to the rival high school? Enjoy and let me know what you think.
The Shammy Boys website is at: www.shammyboys.com and the main film festival website is at www.stpatrickhigh.com

I wouldn't say it was a bad attempt to show off the speacial effects. It was a good attempt to show off the speacial effects. Besides the fact that the art teacher didn't sound evily maniacal instead of just mental, I think the main problem was getting the kid actors to keep a straight face instead of smiling the whole time. You kind of have to push the kids a little harder to get a decent result. Mostly a pretty interesting film though and at the same time extremely weird (which I think was the main intent). P.S. That mother-in-law was the second most freakishly hideous thing I've ever seen.

Well, it might help if you see the first two. Go to www.shammyboys.com and go to the Films section. Although, you might be right that, in the end, it was all just to showcase special f/x. Hopefully not a bad attempt but maybe an attempt. But is that really so wrong? Hope you like em. Rob

well maybe if i had seen the first one this one would have made more sense. where did the title come from? and what the hell are the shammy boys? a paranormal fighting group? and the art teacher being mad...thats no good. it seemed that this movie was just a bad attempt to show off your special effects.
