'Hitman Project'

By swatdojo of Phillip James

Rating:

This is a short film I recently completed in order to challenge myself to try a different style. Most of my previous short films have been action and effects oriented so I wanted to slow things down and work on using color, lighting, and sound techniques to greatly enhance the mood of the film.

I chose to grade the intro as a sort of vintage photograph on purpose since I intended for this to be more of a visual poem than a narrative story.

It was filmed in HD and can be viewed in HD from the youtube page.

It's been a very long time since I posted anything on this site so I wanted to at least share this short film. I hope you all enjoy it.

I enjoyed the cool tones of the filter. The music really set the "poetry" up. It seems twisted when it is mixed with cold-blooded violence, but there is an art to it. Well done.

thanks for the comments guys! glad you enjoyed it, and the name of the song is "Vivaldi: Sposa son desprezzata" performed by Cecilia Bartoli.
