If you look very closely, you can see the black thread I used to hang the models from the ceiling. Youtube is quite forgiving. But using black thread doubled up a couple of times makes it strong enough to hold the models but still hard for the camera to pick up. Nothing fancy or cleaver really. Also a very steady hand to try and stop the models from swaying.

How did you get the ship to stay in place with out seeing the strings? I've been trying to do the same but it didnt comeout as good as yours.
