Filmed and edited by Daniel Wynn We were digging through old videos and came across this old digital camera footage of Ely running through a field in his WWII French soldier uniform with a Mas 36 rifle. I wanted to see how well I could match stock footage's grading with the camera's quality.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. The footage was taken a few years ago on a whim after a rifle range visit. Yes, he had the uniform in his truck the whole time. We came across the footage after moving into our a new home and I decided to try and make it look like raw combat footage that you'd see on the internet, and this was the result. We plan on doing more little fake combat footage videos using a digital camera, but when we do other projects, we're using a Panasonic HVX-200P. No P2 cards yet, however.

I would recommend a camera stabilizer before a whole new camera. There are plenty of DIY build tutorials for them on the web (I just made one myself and it really makes a difference).

Not bad, but I recommend a better camera. When using bullet tracers, try making them smaller, it'll look better. Anyway, I like your uniform and you had a good location to film it!
