Technically this is nicely executed, especially the use of depth of field in places I like. I am however left wondering what exactly you were going for as the feel of the film. The title suggests it was a study in beauty. The music however really gave me a more down beat feeling. It felt more fitting perhaps to a montage of images showing the mondern legacy of world war two or something similar. Also the almost total abscence of people added to the downbeat feeling I felt. If this is what you aere going for then thast wonderful if it was a study of beauty however I personally feel it missed the mark. Obviously you had limited time to shoot so locations as a result would also be limited but the clock and fountain featured far too much. For me there was very little in there I would actually consider beautiful, aside perhaps from some of the flowers. Empty porch swings especially have a feel of something gone and lost rather than of beuaty. Put a couple of happy kids on it or something and suddenly the whole mood is changed. Just a personal opinion though. technically it was pretty good
