Yes, but I did give you a 50 foot Pekingese!! How often do you get that these days?
Interestingly enough I was planning a lot more shaking of the cabin on the plane, I even had a rattly old metal ladder to use as a sound effect, but the woeful performance of my PC and the lengthy rendering times meant I just had to get the thing finished in time for the local film festival.
I can't say enough about how happy I am with Clab and Elab. Every new project gets a little better and easier to control.
This was the first all out movie I've done with the greenscreen and since then I've found a lot of ways of making it look even better.
One day of course I'm going to have to upgrade this antique computer. It speaks well of the FXHome products that they work as well as they do with this machine!
I'm going to stand by the music, the idea isn't so much punctuation of the lightning strike as it is to underscore the tension of the impending crash, maybe I just listened to it too many times, but I think it came across the way I wanted.
And did I mention the 50 foot Pekingese? LOL

Firstly, I realise the style of movie that you're going for and I'm not going to detract stars for that.
While I was watching the movie, I found a few little things that are easily done that I think could help to improve the realism of it.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Near the beginning, the plane ride looks much smoother than any flight that I've ever been on during calm weather. Why not add a little bit of shaky-cam? You could do this in CompositeLab.
The music that we hear when just after the plane has been struck by lightning doesn't fit. At all. It doesn't convey the sense of "Holy crap! We've just been struck by lightning! We're going to crash!" It seems to be more like "Oh well... At least it wasn't a missile..."
The acting was average, but so was 50's B-movie acting.
Still, I think it was obviously meant to be like a 50's B-movie, so well done.
2/5

Thanks for the comments and the ratings!
A 50s "B" movie probably wouldn't get 5 stars back then either!
I don't know what to do to make the video image show up as clear and sharp as it does on YouTube, any suggestions would be much appreciated!
