Hey man, while I really enjoyed this on the whole, I couldn't help but notice, like others, that's it really just footage from the armed forces website. As a montage for the armed forces, it works excellently, but as a trailer I don't really see where you were going with it.
I'm sorry to say I'm going to give this a low rating because of this (lower than I've given any film recently) but don't think this is because you're a bad filmmaker, just that I believe you used the wrong footage in the wrong context. I hope this makes sense, as your editing skills seem pretty good - it's just not cool to just grab a bunch of someone else's footage and make your own trailer from it, in my opinion.
I look forward to seeing what you can shoot, though, it should be interesting!

Thanks for the comments so far. In reply:
Yes this is footage from the armed forces promotional website. But from the off we were never going to make an entire film; just a good, enjoyable trailer.
Continue posting comments as they are great to read

Isn't this just promotional material footage for the Armed Forces intersected with some captions and iffy CGI?
There wasn't any real substance to this, as an exercise in editing it's fine but really I'm struggling to see how you could develop this idea further or turn it into your own original work.
With the next submission, try working with footage you've taken yourself. Even if you created the exact same thing as before it would have a more individualistic and unique edge.
