Circumscribed - 48Hour Competition Entry 2006

By Captain Amazingly Incredible of LegeNZ Productions

Rating:

This was our team's entry into the New Zealand 48Hour film competiton in 2006.

The required prop was a MIRROR, the mandatory line of dialogue was "That's what I'm talking about" and the character that had to be included was Robin Slade - Optimist.

We had fun shooting this, didn't get anywhere in the competition but had a lot of drunken laughs along the way.

Lines I've had over the years of doing 48Hours: "Please don't do that", "Wait a minute", "It doesn't fit", "What do you call that?" and of course, "That's what I'm talking about". Props I've had: Mirror, rock, rope, banana, paintbrush.

Also, for what it's worth, my first 'big' film on here was called Cover's Story, was made in a 24 hour contest in 2006, and required the same line of dialogue. Funny coincidence! Other lines I've had to use include, "you don't owe me anything", "I owe you an apology", "what's this going to cost me?", "what was I supposed to say?", and "the one on the left." I did find the film funny, just a bit slow.
