The prayer cut have been much better if it was used tru the movie, instead of before. But good work.

I thought the action sequence was very well done, it was nice and frenetic with some really great sound editing. I thought you did a great job in keeping your effects to a minimum. So often with these war movie shorts you see a huge overuse of effects which inevitably leads to poor quality renders. What I did see seemed rock solid and well implemented within your footage. That black smoke exlosion in particular. My one slight beef however is with the prayer. It didn't really seem to add anything to the overall feature despite the short being based on it. I may have missed something in the text of the words and the battle sequence but I couldn't see a direct link to the events and the prayer. Which I guess was what I was expecting. It felt like two very different segments soldered together. Having had the prayer being read over as the battle ensues would have been a nice touch, but then again perhaps it would have taken away from the carnage on screen. Still, really great job and a really enjoyable short, fun to watch and follows the golden rule of not outstaying it's welcome. Great stuff!
