That was pretty cool, and obviously a ton of work. An easier way to do it would have been to just shoot the video on a camcorder of your choice then go in and erase a few frames skip a few then erase a few all the way through the vid. Of coarse you would also have to cut and edit for your jump scenes but that wouldn't be hard either. Anyway just for future projects this method is a whole lot easier, but I commend you on getting this project finished and looking so good. Great job.

Hey guys, thanks for all the comments
JohnCarter - The director and the camera man worked out a guide track, by going through the song and working out what syllable should be at what timecode. Like you say, a lot of work!
I also understand if this isn't really your kind of video - I think that this kind of animation is a style that you either love or don't - though it is very much in fashion at the moment (if you look at the amount of promos and adverts using this kind of technique). To be honest, I wasn't really sold on the idea initially, but I really like the way it's turned out.
Like the first post says, though, my involvement was mostly with the grading (we used Apple Color, if anyone is interested).
Cheers,
Arktic.

WOW. That was definitely a lot of work. Technical question - how did the singer manage to keep some sort of synch since everything was photographed? Did you have her lip synch to the song while taking burst photos?
Insane amount of work. Not my cup of tea music wise but impressive technically.
Good work.
