Very good for a first movie. My first was of two guys swinging lightsabers at each other for an entire minute. And it was all one clip. Bored me to make and watch it. My latest is a mage battle. Still crappy.
The acting could have been better. I don't think the kid's level of surprise was really fitting. He was just like, "Whoa." I'm pretty sure anyone able to do that would be more like, "AAAAAAAAAAH!" Screaming and running around trying to put out the fire. The acting was a tiny bit stale.
Other than that, the only issues are 1: there was no fight (though that's a matter of taste), and 2: The effects looked a bit flat.
3/5. 3.5/5 if that were an option.

Thanks again, yeah I know... it was my first movie, and as I looked back I thought my acting was ok, but I really do need to improve.
