The Trailer to a film I shot for my Thesis in Film School. It premiered at a local film festival and was received quite well. Right now I can't release the actual film online due to festival submissions and legal reasons, but here's the trailer!

Welcome back Cypher, good to see you again.
Very nice visuals in here, although maybe a few too many short dof rack focus shots for my liking. The first few were fantastic and set the mood, but after that I started noticing the focus shifts more than the actors/story, if you see what I mean. I'm sure it's fine in the movie, but packing so many into the trailer was a little distracting.
As with Sollthar, I'm not entirely sure what this is about, but I am intrigued enough to want to know more. The boyfriend telling the little girl that she has to leave, followed by the shot of her with a suitcase that's as big as she is, worked to pique my interest in particular.
I'd also agree that the acting is a little monotone...while that might work in the film itself, it makes for a slightly flat trailer. There aren't really any peaks and troughs...it's all very much on the same level.
I'm nit-picking, obviously, but that's what you get when you've moved up to this level.
Nice one.
