I kind of liked it. I thought the suspense at the start was quite good, with the slight dollies (although they could have been smoother without the sound) and the very strong contrast lighting. Helped set the mood. And I really liked the overall idea, particularly how it played out at the end. But it does have many things that are easily avoidable. For instance... when we see the shadow at the beginning... would the guy watching TV really not seen that? Did he fall asleep? I dont know. Seemed silly. I liked the lighting on John except I think you got it reversed; gunman should be the one with a dark background and not lit as much. I think if you switched places, it would have been much more effective. Also, switch up the angles during conversation a bit more. Let's see some closeups on John's reactions, not just the medium shot. It would help to build more tension. Maybe some closeups of his feet tamping or sweat? Cliched, sure, but effective. And it gives the audience a little more to look at, rather than just relying on the dialogue and acting.

I watched this last night, I have to say I was highly disappointed... In basic form, the acting and cinematography were the worst part, I will go into more detail later.
