Reality Teaser Trailer

By Phileep of Global Line Productions

Rating:

A Trailer for an upcoming film. The footage used was just some test footage, we're hoping to film late this year.

Brief Summary - When 2 teenagers go where they know they shouldn't be, they end up being thrown into an alternate reality. A reality much like theirs but with the entire population under the control of 'Atrificial Intelegance' once our two characters meet a small band of freedom fighters they must all work together in order to get home...

Constructive critisism appreciated.

I echo the thoughts shared here. I mean, its kind of a cool idea, but I feel like it doesn't really do much to actually "tease" the movie. Also, I feel like maybe their should be a grading difference between the shots of the city with people and the shots of the city deserted. Anyway...

Thanks for the feedback Zephlon. Yeah you're right about it not explainging alot. maybe my description wasn't the best, but part of the film is that the human race is practically non existant. Please remember that the film hasn't actually been filmed yet and that this was more of a test to see what the film would look like so to speak. And again you're right about the 'booms' not being in time with the music however I did this to emphasise that everyones lives are busy and different, if that makes any sense? but when the music changes you'll notice the 'booms' are more in time, suggesting that people's lives aren't as busy and that everything is more calm. Thanks again for the feedback, much appreciated!

Well the trailer really doesn't explain the movie at all. unless this movie is a documentary about a city, then it would work, but from what you described that's not what it is about....is it? The footage was nice...some shots not on a tripod should have been. The grading was nice and the framing was decent. Biggest problems is that your "Booms" where not on beat with the background song and sounded very secondary. Good luck with the film
