I liked the effect of the many guards before the execution, and the tarzan dagger was very interestingly 'rambo' style (however it looked slightly fake) I'm sure you found that a problem with grading and editing is the fact that Trainers are a grading 'killer' and I could see the product of that. All in all - 3 or 4 out of 5... EDIT: on rewatching i noticed a stupid line during Evan's briefing: "1 captain & 3 Corporals" "So you're sending me in for one man?" "Thats exactly what I'm sending you in for"
me and my friends are massive Rambo fans and the whole knife scene was inspired by Rambo, yes the knife was very fake, it came with in a cheap 99p set of toy guns we found, '1 captain & 3 corporals' is the point you getting at that there were only 3 people in the execution? if that is the problem then heres the answer, the briefing scene was filmed several weeeks before we filmed the execution and we had scripted the scene to have 4 soldiers on the ground, on the day of filming we could on have 3 soldiers as we didnt have enough extras. or is did we get some sort of military rankings wrong?

I enjoyed the 10 minutes I had watching this film - a couple of notes (good and bad) The Script was alright - the acting was good at times, but at points the actors seemed to obviously remembering lines (with no emotion) - but it was alright. My favourite part was the interrogation in the T.V. Room - even better I thought that they were going to make a kidnap/terrorist film in a terrorist film studio but i was satisfied when I saw the grading & camerawork on that scene - 5/5 for that... Pretty good over all the dialouge was kinda cheezy at parts but i really really liked the interogation scene that was pretty good. the blood on the screen was a bit much at times. nice props!! overall a good movie
thanks, i also think the lens blood was a bit much once i reaslied how many times i used it(the main ones that get me are the final 2, they were pretty much covering up effects i wasnt to sure on). i also like the interroragation scene, we filmed it in our college's film studio so we had very good lighting. and now the dialog, this wasn't writen by me, i just did the bulk of the directing and editing, but the script is mostly fine but in places my friend's strange sense of humour comes in like the 'who does it feel' line which i and all the actors questioned but decided to leave in for the line following.
