In dedication of the one year anniversary of Comv's biggest movie yet, we at COMV decided to release a "making of" for those of you who may be curious (plus we were bored, and had a lot of left over footage) We cover a lot of aspects of the production of Faded thus forth the length. I Hope those of you who enjoy watching bonus features slightly enjoy this.

I loved Faded and it was very entertaining to see what all went into the production of it. Plus it had some funny parts. I went back to go watch faded again just to see the parts you talked about
P.S. The backpack part is my favorite. helps make that shot not look odd, and the effect was so flawless. never would have known

haha yeah lots of focus pulls in the movie. first camera we had that ha a manual focus ring so we used it a lot
For the light spill I just used the "glow: composite" grade in Compositelab. Then I increased the contrast so there was more "white" for the glow to originate from. Hope that helps

Wow!
Looks like you guys had loads of fun.
(And boredom in the 30-sec manual depth of field, haha)
Just a quick question: Which grading filters did you apply to have the light spill?
Thanks,
Plainly
