I laughed throughout this, so I guess it did its job. The only thing I was disliking was how stupid the guy was to walk in the wrong apartment, but that was resolved by the glasses.
I don't think this was random either. It was a pretty cohesive narrative, and even the tables-have-turned twist didn't feel that random. You set him up to be a hapless guy and that went to a natural conclusion of him being found out. The most random moment was the parachute, but that was brilliant.

I was almost crying laughing at that Sean Connery impression. I really liked this, well done.

I think you guys are exaggerating the "randomness" of this short. It's frenetic and weird, sure, but I think it only gets "random" at the very end. It's mostly straight forward story wise.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Until the quirky "it was just a test" stuff at the end, there wasn't anything particularly random in this that stood out. Especially compared to some of your other work.
I think people are maybe confusing 'quirky' with 'random'. Just because it isn't Friends doesn't mean it automatically becomes INCREDIBLY RANDOM.
