This is Berger Bros Studios next greatest film. Originally meant to be a preview, we finally decided to make the entire movie, and make it our best yet, and I feel we succeeded in doing so! It's about a young man whose love is viciously murdered by an evil apprentice! He goes out in search of the murderer, and is ambushed by him! The young man barely escapes with his life, due to the arrival of "The Master". This old man teaches his new apprentice the Forces of the Martial in order to help his apprentice become a true Kung Fu Master! Near the end of his training, the young man's Master faces his arch nemesis, his old apprentice. Turned evil, The Master fights his Old Apprentice. Watch and find out what else happens! We were very proud of the effects and directing. However, even then, you'll still find many errors. We're still learning! ;)

Diablospitt will have to help me on this one. As I am no longer at home and out away at college, I don't know the exact specs of the camera we used. All I know was that it was an older digital camera. Very limited in its uses, but got the job done as far as recording what went on in front of the lens. As far as plot goes in the film, we did not focus on a plot. When one watches it just from a film standpoint, we realized that if a stranger were to watch it, all they would say was "What the heck was that!?". Although there is a story that is hard to pick up on, we did not concentrate on that. All of these films are an exploration of our talents. We worked a lot on making the light sword fight look good, along with interesting twists such as the weapons changes in the fight between the Masters. The voice overs were exactly as they should be. If you watch the old Kung Fu movies, they were all made in Japanese or Chinese or whatever, and were dubbed over with an English translation, so none of the voice matched the lips of the actors. That's what we were aiming for. As far as the camera moving a lot, yes there was a ton of jerkiness to it, especially when the camera zooms in on The Master for the first time. You get the feeling you're on a roller coaster ride! All of these shots were not preplanned. We stood there thinking about what to film next, quickly came up with what would happen in the scene, rehearse once or twice, and shoot the scene. One other part you might also be referring to is the part when The Master is on the ground with rake in hand. He suddenly rolls over and over, and finally stands to face the Evil Master. We rolled the camera with the actor we used, to give the audience a sense that they were rolling with the actor. We thought it was a neat effect to add in. Finally, almost no editing was made to the actual footage. We shot it, transfered it, spliced it, added effects, and threw it together. As far as creating the film itself, the scenes took us two days to create, each day being about 3-5 hours each. Editing took about 4 months mostly because of the special effects. Light sword battles take a bit, especially when one of the swords is double bladed. Hope that helps a bit!

glad to see im the first to talk about this. out of interest, what did you film it on and how long did it take? Ok, interesting. It didn't make total sense just from the film, but it was funny in its own way. i liked the 'water on, water off' bit. The voice overs were a little messed up and the camera jerky, and it seemed like no editing to the actual footage was done, save the lightsaber battle. but overall, not bad for the camera you used. funny that the short guy and the 'evil' guy fought with spades, sticks and sabers lol! 3/5 from me because i didn't understand the whole story from the film along with the camera and voice overs, though the sound effects were funny.

Hey there. This is Mike Berger, one of the producers of this film. Thanks for the good review. We actually did not churn all 3 of our movies out at the same time. We made these movies with long breaks in between, so they have existed for quite awhile now. We decided to add all of them to fxhome at the same time, and I really look forward to more reviews to see what others think. Try to watch the full movie, there is a great saber battle at the end! Regards, Diablo Spitt 41
