What do you get when you mix swashbuckling, film noir, and elements from silent comedy together? Answer: A Night at the Pier

Made for the '24 Hour Animation Contest' at Brickfilms.com, the theme was 'What really happened?' The score was composed by Brian during the contest, parts of it were heavily influenced by 'A Cautionary Song' by The Decemberists

animating shots like that were really the highlight of making the movie. Simple shots can get boring to make so you have to mix it up with a lot of fun stuff.

5 stars! Flawless stop motion- great sets and fantastic voice overs make for quite anfantastic and fascinating short! I loved it- especially when that bloke got blasted when the guard tripped over him...and hsi precious cups went flying through the night sky. Genius! Well done on it! Sam

You have not advertised it at all, is the problem. Nobody knows about it. Make a signature image for this and put it in your sig space, then shout a few posts in the General Chat and see who comes out of the woodwork.
