What a shame you aren't able to complete this film. As a huge fan of the Universal and Hammer horror films I really enjoyed the snippets. The characters look great and the production values very high.
However, i understand your reasons and wish you lots of luck with your new project - that looks great too.

As I said, the bar set is my best set to date, however I think I may have spent around $150 to $200 dollars to make that set, where as the Haiku Menace cost $100 total (this would not have been possable without all the leftovers from my other projects though)
Hair animation is a very easy thing to animate, I guess it's one of those details that can add a lot to a film, the key is just remembering to do them.

Agreed, this project looked quite promising. I enjoyed these short clips very much, particularly the bar scene. Although each set looked great, and both show a considerable amount of attention towards detail, I think you did an exceptional job with the tavern especially.
Smaller details, such as the subtle and clever animation of cloth and hair should also be noted. This definitely had a certain charm about it, and it is a shame to hear it will not be completed. With that said, episode one of Sophie Swanson looks very well done as well, and I wish you much luck with your new project.
Outstanding work.
