Did you read the post that I made offering suggestions? It really is quite strange that you should have such problems. i'm convinced the problem is somewhere between recording on your camera and importing to effectslab. try open just a jpeg in effectslab and see if you can apply a neon light to it easily. But yea, i'd be happy to help if i'm able to.

i'm completely torn about this trailer. The music is absolutly beautiful (Star wars, right?). And thats basically the only thing that kept me watching. The text to video ratio was way off to the point that I would have cut the text just to change the ratio, making it a shorter trailer. I know the difficulties of making a movie as a kid, and getting what little footage you had was probably very hard. however, i suggest you film a bunch of parts of the movie that are really easy to shoot. Even if its boring stuff, i think it would help the next trailer a lot. Just have shots of people doing anything thats in your movie that doesn't require much in post. But to be completely honest, the music really kept me watching. It seemed to fit amazingly well. I happen to love that score so much, and it really fit your trailer nicely. suprisingly (no offence intended), despite the faults of this trailer, I really really want to see teh final movie! I've been keeping up with yoru production for quite a while now, and I'm really getting interested. I guess the major reason i want to see more footage is becuase i'm so interested. Don't hesitate to PM me if you need help on your movie. Becuase i'm so torn about this movie, I've decided not to rate it at all. I dont feel i could rate it farely. But if i were to rate it, it would either be a 4 for making me really want to see more and haveing the music match perfectly (etc), or it would be a 2, for not really showing any movie and having tons of text. thats how torn I am All in all, really nice effort. I'm really excited for your film.
