This is our special effects extravaganza. Being the first film we actually produced, Battalia ab Magi is a story of revenge. Mavic is a mage with just one thing on his mind: avenging the death of his wife. Strafe is his former mentor and was the one who took her life. In this short, Mavic finally catches up with Strafe and a battle ensues.

Thanks! This film, believe it or not, was the first short my buddy and I made. Interestingly, we made it not two days after purchasing AlamDV2. While not the highest quality in production value, it was fun to make and an excellent learning experience.

Quite entertaining. Good placement of effects. Good choice of mood music as well. I though it was interesting to hear lightsaber effects. I was expecting a lightsaber fight to ensue. It might have been better to use other sound effects. The opening shot was a little dark though, and it seemed that that audio was coming out of only the left channel.
