The talented crew behind the Unwritten Rule Trilogy are back with an altogether different offering. Skitzo The Rabbit is a disturbing piece of horror puppetry and animation that recalls early expressionist German filmmaking with bold, noirish cinematography and character design. Inspired by the Judderman Metz commercials and Tim Burton’s stop motion films, Skitzo is a memorable and haunting fairy tale.

I enjoy watching puppet films, whether they are stop motion or marionettes, and when I see them I usual write detailed a critique in hopes that the maker and other viewers will be inspired to go out and make even better films. But I guess my tone did not really reflect this feeling I have very well.
