Well, I thought it'd be nice to update the film progress on this thread. So here goes... I did complete the 2nd draft of the full film idea back in August last year. As posted before... And I've been working since February of this year on a 3rd draft. Very slow work. It's just about removing things and putting new bits in or rejigging the story points and pace more. Kinda tough. But I've taken a timeout on it. I'm working on a dvd project for the theatre that will blow away anything they've ever had before. Just to give a little backstory, their videos are filmed by 2 people with old early 90's cameras. I'd forgive that if the sound was good. But the sound is picked up by the cameras as well. And then it's dumped onto a vhs with shoddy titling. We're talking 80's home titling! White titles with high contrast. It's incredibly lazy work, imo. I know, I'm blabbing here. But I'm on a roll! SO anyway... I'm doing a 2-disc dvd that has the show remixed in Stereo and 5.1 surround sound! And the 2nd disc is gonna contain lots of extra materials to complement the show. Now, another reason (kind of) for doing this set is that it'll show them that I can handle an ambitious project on my own. Lending more weight to the idea of giving me a chance to make my film with them. Okay...that was long. So, to round-off, I'm still putting things into this third draft. But I don't see it getting made anytime soon. It might be possible to get it started next year. But things are not clear. We'll see... Adam.

What the!? How did I get a certificate of 15? Was it the strangling bit that did it? Anyway, onto some news. The script that I was writing is complete. It's a whopping 120 odd pages. So dialog and story are now finally in place. Once it gets the ok from the theatre group, we'll be auditioning/rehearsing and then making it sometime next year. And possibly for release as well. It's going to seriously be -huge-.
