"The story of one man's revenge and his fishing pole."

Sortie is a tale of revenge that follows the path of one man. This man's name is Mose. He thirsts for the blood of another man. That man's name is Willian. What is Mose's motive? Willian did something to a girl that Mose knows. Just what happened however, is up to the viewer. The film is littered with "deliberate plot holes" and ambiguities meant to be decided by you.

This movie is a product of my love for extreme asian cinema (OldBoy, Ichi the Killer, Electric Dragon 80,000v) and my love of the Silent Hill video game series.

I hope you enjoy the film.

Wow, I'm honored that you actually took the time to watch the movie more then once, and actually took notes on things. I never really thought about the problem with having an angle behind someone, and that is something I will definetly (I can spell) look out for in future movies. As for the song, it's called Chiyo-chan harishu! by Oranges and Lemons, but it is actually a track off of the Azumanga Daioh (an anime) Soundtrack vol. 1. My favorite anime by the way, and the other tracks on the CD ar just as fantastic. You can hear samples of it here Note: The english translation of the track that you are looking for is called Chiyo-chan runs!

Douglas Adams! That's why I liked it; the random part with the three doors reminded me of something out of the Hitchhiker books. Now, after watching this a few more times, I pinned down a few more specific mistakes (aside from the obvious ones like sound quality). One problem I noticed was the part where Anderholm is chasing Mose down the isle; you put the camera behind Anderholm, making it impossible to see what was happening (you also did this in It's Coming when Vader is chasing you and swinging his saber). Putting the camera behind Mose instead would give you a better view of the stick swings and allow you to see more of Mose's reactions. Also, Mose just kind of falls down into a puddle of blood at the end. It would look smoother you just showed him falling down, then had the blood puddle in the next shot of him. That way you wouldn't have to cut the part where he falls down so awkwardly short. Those are just some minor things, but they do tend to bring the viewer out of the movie. But personally, I thought the little unpolished areas make it look a little more artful. And what was the name of the song during the office fight? I NEED to know.
