Every year when I go on vacation with my daughter I make a film. (Last year was "Crouching Dragon Hidden Baby") This year I wanted to something very special. Right before I left I discovered ALAMDV and I could finally shoot the type of movie I wanted to shoot. I tried to get the feel of "BATMAN - The animated series" I wanted a detective story with lots of action. The story is a mystery of someone trying to steal my daughter's Grammies "Feathered Palm," which is entered in a Horticultural Contest. Filmed mostly on location in Florida I used a JVC minidv. For software I used Premiere 6 and ALAMDV 2. The whole project was great fun. My wife, daughter, mother-in-law and nephew were in it and my brother-in-law helped me film. I use a ton of FX and there are stunts. (I even had to put the PG rating on it because some people thought some of the ALAMDV FX were real!)
