Visual Portfolio

This was created over a few hours in two nights to be used as a visual portfolio for my interview at York University for the Image Arts - Film Studies program. The interviewers at York were impressed by the body of work that is shown through the reel.

It is simply a collection of various movies shot in the last four years by the scopeCrew. The reel ends off with a timeline with shots of various films, one per year.

If you look closely, you will even see footage from the yet, unreleased RedFruit II and our current project...P...

What made this so good was that one could actually see the prgress made as the films looked better and better as the years went on, nice work and I loved the music.

well, I have to say I like the second half of the reel more, thought some of the cool shots are in the first half. I liked the music. But definately it's too long for a reel when you choose only a few of your movies, as I noticed some movies you made are missing entirely. I'll write more on this the next morning.

Maybe it impressed your interviewers - whether you get into the programme will tell you that. Good luck. From a viewer point of view, I would have preferred the music to be toned down a bit, and where you have shots of people talking it would have been nice for us to hear little snippets, and where you had shooting, to hear the gun sounds. That's just me. There are some nice shots in there, especially from your most recent work, & I'm a big fan of Snitch.
