The FXhome live chat system uses a system called Internet Relay Chat (IRC) which enables people to communicate with each other simultaneously.

Live chat is a great alternative to the FXhome.com forums, offering a chance for people to get to know each other better in a less formal and more interactive environment.

Messages you type using the live chat system appear immediately on everybody else's screens, allowing for more normal conversation.

To use live chat you only need a modern browser (we recommend Firefox or Internet Explorer). Make sure that Javascript is enabled in your browser options.

After connecting to live chat, you will be automatically taken to the main chat room, which is called #fxhome. On the right there will be a list of everybody in the room.

The discussion can be seen in the large central area. You can type your own messages into the box at the bottom of the main chat window. When you hit return the message will be sent to the chat room so that everybody can read it.

When you're ready, click the 'live chat' tab above to connect to the main chat room.
